The Kandinsky 3 is a hand knotted, captivating rug design inspired by the abstract painting of artist Wassily Kandinsky. Kandinsky, who as a child in Moscow was fascinated and exceptionally stimulated by colour. Every knot in this rug is created by hand with meticulous precision by artisanal weavers in our best quality hand-dyed 100% New Zealand wool yarn, reflecting the intricate brushstrokes and vibrant colours reminiscent of Kandinsky’s work Concentric squares and circles (1913). The Kandinsky rugs are a limited edition of 10 pieces. Each provided with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. The first piece of each design with be sold at an 20% discount.
